If you are interested in donating to Camp Isaiah, please read the following:
Camp Isaiah is currently NOT a non-profit organization. Therefore any donation you make to Camp Isaiah cannot be claimed on your taxes. While we are working to remedy this situation, please consider donating.
Donations will enable us to become a non-profit in the near future. (It costs $500.00 to apply to the IRS to become a Non-Profit.)
Donations help keep the cost of camp low. With rising prices everywhere, Camp Isaiah has sought to keep its costs as low as possible for the campers, but rising prices do affect the cost whether we like it or not.
By donating you are enabling the Camp Isaiah leadership to utilize the money or items donated to enhance the camp experience.
No money is made by the camp leadership; everything goes back into the camp in some fashion, for the kids.
In addition, Camp Isaiah is looking to broaden its horizons. It is our goal to become more influential in the lives of the kids who attend the camp. We would like the camp to be a starting point for spiritual growth in the lives of those who attend. Our future goals include
- a short-term mission trip made up of camp counselors and graduating seniors who attend Camp Isaiah
- adding a second session of camp
- becoming a larger Para-church ministry that seeks to help the kids in whatever spiritual endeavors they may embark on outside of camp. (i.e. providing funds to attend a church or school mission trip).
By donating you are pushing us closer to our goal -- but more importantly you are helping us to live out our role in Jesus great commission to the Christian church. (Matthew 28:16-20).
